The Scared Straight Tour has been featured in several television news broadcasts including CTV, CHEK TV and APTN.

I am extremely pleased with the new developments in our program as I think this will make an even bigger difference in the lives of even more people by helping them maintain a life free from addiction. I have dedicated my career (since 1997) to helping those suffering from this horrible affliction but my involvement with addiction goes much further back. Having grown up in a family where alcoholism was rampant, and having developed a serious addiction myself, which almost cost me my life when I was in my 20's, I take addiction and the devastation it causes very seriously.

Together we can make a difference.

Founder of The Scared Straight Tour

The Scared Straight tour was an unforgettable experience. I saw many things that were scary, many things that were sad and also many things that made me smile. It has definitely changed my opinion about using drugs. If you ever have the chance to have an experience like this I would say that you should take it. It teaches you everything you need to know and it answered almost all of my questions. It wasn’t anything like I expected it to be. I just want to say thanks to Pierre.

I had the extreme privilege of accompanying a group of youth from rural BC on the Scared Straight Tour and speaking with them at length about their experience. What we saw and how they related the desperation to their own world not only affected them so emotionally that they began to share their own personal stories; it created a tight bond of support among the group that time will never change. In short, they left with new tools for coping with addiction and became each other’s best support group.
